U11B Match Result

Perfect conditions on a Saturday afternoon at Christy Leahy park for a game of soccer were out under 11b squad took on listowel celtic. The tone was set from the off with the park boys producing some great attacking play which continued throughout the game. The defence when called upon was rock solid and composed. A very special mention to liam O’Connell who made the man of the match decision an easy one with an outstanding goalscoring performance from centre midfield. Big thanks to listowel for travelling in for the game and who performed very well considering they were short on subs and who’s keeper was oustanding.

U11A Match Report

Well done to both Park U11 and LB Rovers teams for playing some excellent football in their two games in Ballybunnion last Saturday. It was great for both teams to overcome early difficulties playing on grass to produce two very even and exciting games of football. Thanks to our hosts for providing their pitch for the fixture. Well done to captains on the day Sam Slattery and Martin McGivern who both did the club proud. Congratulations to Man of the match Eugene in the A fixture and joint m.o.t.m. Oliver Lata and Eoin Flaherty in the B fixture.

Under 10/11 Match Report

An early morning start in Christy Leahy Park saw players from our u10 and u11 teams play a series of friendly games. Pep Guardiola would have been impressed by the build up play from all sides, a reflection of Spanish football in sub zero temperatures. Excellent goal scoring, defensive play and team work ensured that those watching went home happy with the performance on view. Nikita and Faye did a great job as team captains for the day and led their teams by example.
Next week we will play another series of games versus our u 9 group and Mary in the shop had promised a few surprises for those that attend.

A text will be sent during the week to confirm times however it will be around the 10 am kick off time.

Players of the day go too Adam and Ryan.

Registration and training fees

3rd September 2017

Dear Player/Parent/Guardian

Registration & training/match fees for 2017-2018 Season

The Management Committee have decided that the Registration Fee payable per each player for the coming season will be €100, with training/match fees maintained at last season’s amount of €140, so the total cost per player for the full season is €240. We are pleased to announce that the above fees include a Park F.C. branded O’Neills triton windcheater.

The fees will be used to pay Registration and Affiliation fees with both the Kerry Schoolboys/Girls League or the Kerry District League (adults), Player Insurance, electricity bills for our floodlights, as well as Referee’s fees, kit-washes etc. The discounted Registration Fee for a second family member is €60, with discounted training fee €70.

The fees are payable by any of the three following methods:

? One instalment of €220 payable by Friday 29th September
? Three instalments of €80 payable by Friday 29th September, Friday 24th November and Friday 23rd February 2018.
? Eight instalments of €30 – only payable by Standing Order/bank transfer

Any person who wishes to pay by Standing Order/bank transfer from their Bank or Credit Union account may do so by contacting the Club Registrar – contact details below.

The discounted Registration Fee for a second family member can be paid in instalments of €40, €40 and €50 by the above dates.

Please note that the Management Committee have decided that a player is ineligible to train and therefore ineligible for selection if the Registration Fee is not paid in full by 29th September or by the above dates if paying by instalments.

A Registration night will be held for each squad during the coming weeks in advance of the first deadline on 29th September (on training nights where possible). Team Managers will advise you of the details. Two further Registration nights will be scheduled in advance of Friday 24th November and Friday 23rd February 2018, to facilitate those who wish to pay in instalments by cash/cheque.

The Club is aware that the start of the football season coincides with that time of the year which places a burden on family finances in particular, but we believe that our fees are very good value for money for the service we provide and compare favourably with those of other sporting organisations. We also hope that the instalment option will help.

Should you have any queries regarding this letter, please contact the Club Registrar at the number below (outside office hours), or any member of the Management Committee.

We look forward to your support in the season ahead.

Yours in Sport

Ger O’Brien
