Under 13B Match Report
St Brendan’s Park Fc U13B 7 : 1 Killarney Athletic U13B
What a beautiful morning for a game, no wind or rain, nice and bright and calm. Park under 13 B kicked off at 10.10 against Killarney Athletic and commanded things right from the start with lots of attacking football and striker Dylan Hobbart finding the back of the net after only 2 minutes. It was a sign of things to come as Park were playing in the Killarney half most of the time. At the 10 minute mark after lovely link up play Jack Slattery put Park 2 up. The onslaught continued and 5 minutes later Cillian made it 3. Two minutes later Dylan scored his second. Shortly after that Rodrigo Pinho the smallest player on the pitch scored a fantastic flying header, the goal of the game and the season so far. What Dylan was able to do Jack could do as well and scored his second after 25 minutes. It was time for a break and Park came in at half time 6-0 up.
Much of the play was in the Killarney half of the pitch leaving little for keeper Conor Foley to do but when called upon he was excellent coming for the ball when he should have and staying on his line at the right times.
Things were a little slower in the second half and a new attitude by Killarney saw them have some of the play and a mix up with Parks keeper and full back saw them snatch a goal back. Having conceded a goal Dylan decided it was time for his hat trick and with a good solo run from the half way line got it. That turned out to be the last of the scoring in the game. It was a pleasure to watch the team work, the one twos and the cohesive movement.
Well done to everyone, another 3 points in the bag.
U13A Skechers SFAI Cup Match report
Last Saturday the 13A squad progressed to the next round of the National Cup in an away fixtures to Aisling Annocotty 13Bs.
It took the Park boys a while to get going in a wet and wind Annacotty, the first goal came through Darragh Cunnane who also helped himself to a second before halftime. In between Darraghs two goals Odhran Ferris with a left footed cracker from just outside the box and Callum O`Sullivan made if four to the park at halftime.
In the second half the Park totally dominated the position side of the game but only managed to convert this position into a further two goals, the first goal of the second-half saw Darragh Cunnane complete this hat-trick and the second came from a corner kick which was converted by the towering Venis Jahiri .
A big thank you to all the parents that helped with transport on the day and also to Aisling Annocotty for the hospitality to all that traveled on the day.
Squad on the day.

Joint Man Of The Match; Luke Casy and Darragh Cunnane.
U13B Match Report
It started out a nice morning in Christy Leahy Park for the under 13 game between our U13B’s and Killorglin B but just after kick off at midday it got very windy. We tipped off against the wind and had the upper hand from the beginning with Dylan Hobbart scoring after just 3 minutes. We were playing lovely football with some great moves cutting through the middle of the Killorglin defence. However 5 minutes later a kick out by the Park keeper Keith Cotter, who had a great game, was caught by the wind and fell to the Killorglin attack and they made the most of it to equalise. Half way through the half, excellent play in midfield saw the ball played forward and between Dylan and Rodrigo Pinho who worked well together, Rodrigo stuck the ball in the Killorglin net to make it 2-1. We continued to dominate the game with excellent play in mid field, Sean Moynihan played a super game running all over the field, working hard and winning the ball. Just before half time however, Killorglin equalised to leave the score 2-2 at the break.
The weather turned bad for the start of the second half with very heavy rain. We again controlled the play and put in an excellent display and were rewarded with the winning goal scored by Conor Cronin 10 minutes from the end to leave the scoreline at 3-2 in our favour.
The whole team are to be congratulated, they played as a unit, great contributions from everyone involved, Eoghan Bradshaw, Tadgh Foley, Dean Mc Elligott, Jack Slattery, Danial O Connor, Cillian O Mahony, Jamie Williams, Ghazi and Ade.
