(U14) Premier ; Park A 3-3 Killarney Celtic A

Anyone up at the Park on Saturday morning last witnessed a six goal thriller between two well matched sides. Mind you with 20 – 25 minutes left in the game a draw seemed highly unlikely .
The first half was full of good football with the Park having the best of the play. Cian Brosnan down the left wing was giving the opposing defenders a torrid time and he was unlucky when striking the upright mid way through the half. Continue reading (U14) Premier ; Park A 3-3 Killarney Celtic A

(U14) Premier ; Camp Juniors 1-2 Park A

The Park A Under 14 side got 2017 off to a flying start with a good win over Camp Juniors under floodlights at the KDL.

Credit to both sides for a very entertaining match as conditions were difficult at times as a strong gale blowed with rain.

 

Camp had the benefit of the elements in the first half but found it difficult to take advantage. The Park side were very committed from the outset giving the Camp lads very little time and space. Continue reading (U14) Premier ; Camp Juniors 1-2 Park A

(U14) Division 1 ; Park B 5-4 Killorglin B

It was a foggy damp morning for the game between Park B under 14 and Killorglin, conditions were very slippery. The game got under way at 10.40 with both teams going at it, 5 minutes in a corner from Park created a scramble in the Killorglin goal mouth and saw the ball go in off Niall Heaton to make it 1-0. Shortly after a good move by Killorglin saw them equalise.

FAI launches Coach Education Pathway 2017-2020

 

The Football Association of Ireland launched the Coach Education Pathway 2017-2020 at the FAI National Training Centre on Monday, December 12.

FAI High Performance Director Ruud Dokter, FAI Coach Education manager Niall O’Regan and FAI Coach Education Co-ordinator Warren Bolger were joined by coaches Paul Osam, Barbara O’Connell and Marcus Grant at the launch.
