Over 40 of our Under 10’s made the short trip to Camp on Saturday morning last to take part in a blitz with fantastic hosts Camp United. Weather conditions were excellent and three pitches in total were home to 4 Park FC teams and 2 from Camp who played each other on a round robin basis.
The football on display was a credit to both clubs as all teams put in some great performances.
All four Park teams played with great skill, determination and spirit. For Park 1 among those who shone were Sean in goals along with Jack, John and Armin. Park 2 had great displays from Conor, Marc, Gavin, Alan and David. Park 3 saw terrific performances from Sam, Conall, Hugh, Nathan and Jordan. Finally, among those to play well for Park 4 were Cormac, Alan, Niall, Christopher and Dylan.
After the matches, all present were treated to fantastic hospitality by all at Camp United. We would like to sincerely thank them for hosting a fantastic event and looking after us so well.
