Unfortunately our attempt to make it four league finals in a row failed today in Castleisland in our last league game of the season . After a slow start to the game we slowly started to get more and more into the match . A great flowing move involving Sean Foley , Adam o Rourke , Antony Murphy and David Courtney saw Fergal Maunsel give us the lead . This was held until half time thanks to some great goalkeeping by Fionn Coakley .
The second half saw Castleisland throw everything at us and got level ten minutes into the second half . Two wonder strikes saw then extend their lead mid way through the second half . Castleisland have their keeper to thank for keeping their lead as he produce a number of great saves . Mark o Sullivan pulled a goal back late on but it just wasn’t to be .
The team must now try to refocus and try reclaim the Greyhound Bar KO Cup that we won last season .
