The Youth team extended their lead at the top of the division on Tuesday night with a hard earned win away against AC Athletic .
The first half saw us struggle to gain control of the game and but for three great saves From Conor Hurley we could have found our selves behind early on . As the half wore on we began to create a few more chances but Gerard Stackpoole in the AC Athletic made a few terrific saves to deny Paddy Collins , Gareth Hickey Brosnan and Ferdia o Brien .
The second half saw us change our formation to a 352 and this gave us more control of the game stretching the AC defence more on numerous occasions . The only goal of the game came with twenty minutes remaining . Sean Kelliher making his first appearance since fracturing his leg in October scored with an over head kick . The remainder of the game saw us comfortably see out the time to collect another three points and remain unbeaten after seven league games .
