Greyhound Bar KO Cup Semi-Final Replay
On a very hot evening we overcame the strong challenge of Iveragh Utd. David Magee gave us the lead when he scored from 40 yards before David Courtney made it 2-0 just before the break with a great individual goal.
Iveragh pulled one back with 25 minutes remaining when David Magee turned the ball into his own net. But despite this we managed to hold our lead to the final whistle despite missing numerous chances to extend the lead. And with Jamie Kelly having a fantastic performance between the posts we never looked like conceding another.
The Final is on Sunday 3rd June in Mounthawk Park against Castleisland FC with the time to be confirmed. Hopefully we can retain the Cup after winning it twelve months ago.
