What can i say, the lads played their hearts out, Joe was outstanding in goal as per usual with Martin stopping 2 on the line. I am proud of the lads even though the score was 6-2 to Ballyhar as they played well. Sean was great in defence, well done Sean, but we need to tighten up the posture of the team.
I think the lads lost heart for a while, but we got one back in the first half through Fergal O’Brien. Ballyhar were good on the attack and as I said if it wasn’t for Joe the score would have been worse.
In the second half we were awarded a penalty which Mark took and scored which made it 4-2, as we went looking for more goals we got caught on the counter but the lads did not give up till the final whistle.
