The annual walk to raise funds for PARKINSON’S SUPPORT GROUPS takes place on bank holiday Monday, October 29th at 10.30 a.m.
Starting point is Ballygarry House hotel from where walkers will go to Ballyseedy Woods and do a circuit of the woods before returning to Ballygarry House Hotel where tea/coffee and biscuits, sponsored by the hotel, will be available to all walkers.
The walk is organised by very own Christy Leahy, who suffers from Parkinson’s Disease and anybody looking for sponsorship cards or wishing to make a donation can contact him on 087 7599331.
On Saturday, October 20 and Saturday, October 27 fellow club members and parents of underage teams and academy members will have an opportunity to make donations if they so desire.
On both days, with kind permission of St. Brendan’s Park FC, a donation box will be placed inside the gates at Christy Leahy Park and any subscriptions will be greatly appreciated.
