We advance to the next round thanks to a hard victory away in Limerick. This win showed the never give up attitude the players have shown recently.

We dominated the opening exchange with Antony Murphy and Con Barrett going close. Mark o Sullivan then saw his header crash off the upright from a Ryan Downey corner in the 40th minute , but from the following attack Ballingarry took the lead with a 30 yard strike into the top Corner.

FAI Junior Cup 3rd Round Squad away to Ballingarry

The second half saw us push forward-looking for the equalizer. Great work from Fiachra Dunne saw his long-range effort just go wide with the keeper helpless. Martin Bowler and Mike Conway were always pushing forward-looking for the equalizer which seemed like it would never come. How ever it did in the 81st minute when after a goal mouth scramble Con Barrett finished home from close range. Mark o Sullivan then hit the post for the second time with 5 minutes remaining when his 25 yard free kick had the keeper looking on as a spectator . In the 91st minute with extra time looming Mark o Sullivan ran onto a loose ball on the edge off the box and fired home the winner.

We will now have a home tie in the 4th round against the winners of Tralee Dynamos and Ennis Town Rock. The winners will then progress to the open draw of 64 teams .
