Today we hosted K Boys at Christy Leahy Park.The first half saw a very tight match-up with K Boys taking the lead after 10 mins. In a half that we were slow to get started we invited a lot of pressure on ourselves. However we stayed with them and were rewarded when Poga gave a great ball into Alfie who scored a good goal.
The second half saw us up our game and get into a nice stride, we took control of the game and put great pressure on the goals. K Boys goalkeeper played a fine game saving a few strikes from us. Eventually our pressure paid off with Sebastian getting a super header. Our third goal was a wonderful strike again by Alfie hitting the top corner from 35 yards.
All Park players gave an outstanding performance today but the one who really stood out was Keevan.
Players that played today were, Conor H, James S, Conor M, Craig, Keevan, Alfie, Poga, James R, Sebastian, Ali, Leon, Patrick, Owen, Mervin and Fergal.
