We advance to the semi finals off the greyhound bar after beating local rivals Classic Fc today . The scoreline in the end was close but if decisions had gone our way it could have been a lot closer as we had three goals disallowed . The game started with us on the front foot and held all the possession for the opening twenty minutes . We took the lead after twenty-five minutes when David Conway crossed a free kick that evaded everyone and went in at the back post with Con Barrett trying his best to get onto to it to try to claim the goal but was awarded to Conway by the match referee . Five minutes later Fergal Maunsell fired a great shot which hit the post roll across the line and hit the other post and roll two feet over the line before the Classic keeper dragged the ball out and the referee who was over thirty yards away said play away .

The second half started in the same fashion with us in total control . Five minutes into it Fergal Maunsell made a great run to the end line and he pulled the ball back Anthony Murphy was on hand to score . However this was ruled out for off side which seemed strange as the ball had been pulled back to the player .  On the hour mark Fergal made it two nil when he cut in from the wing and a low shot to the bottom corner . Classic Pulled one back with fifteen remaining and this made for a tight finish . Mark o Sullivan tried his look straight from the tip-off but the classic keeper just got his hands to it to keep it out of the net . Mark then had our third goal disallowed for a hand ball offence in the dying minutes which seemed to be the correct decision as we easily saw out the remaining minutes . We now face Killarney Athletic in the Semi Final .
