An entertaining game played on the perfect all weather surface in Killarney ended in a 2-2 draw with both sides feeling unlucky to end up with only one point .Park dominated possession for long periods of the game without creating enough chances and indeed Celtic probably had the most clear cut opportunities .
Celtic went into a one nil lead  with a well taken goal from a short corner which the Park defence failed to cope with .Just before half time a good move between Sean Dukes and Ryan Dolan  ended with Ryan crossing for James Duggan to finish well with a low shot and level the game .
The second half followed a similar pattern to the first with the Park defence , which has been rock solid all season, struggling to cope with the lively Celtic attack . A long ball played straight through the middle of the pitch was seized on by the Celtic number nine after 60 minutes and he bullied his way through to put his side into the lead .
Celtic should have increased their lead from the penalty spot after Conor Hurley had brought down the Celtic attacker in the area . Conor redeemed his error with a tremendous double save to keep the deficit down to one goal .
This seemed to galvanise the Park team and after a defence splitting pass from Paddy Collins put through Luke Moynihan to level the match ionly one side looked like winning the game .The Celtic defence worked tirelessly and a combination of poor finishing and some inspired keeping meant that Park were unable to snatch a winner .
In truth a draw was probably the right result and both sides should be satisfied with the point .
