The game started of with a strong Killarney team scoring after a few minutes and it looked like this A team were going to be too strong for Park B. As the game progressed park came back into it and with a ball over the top by Jake, Sean ran onto it and with a great volley struck the crossbar and into the back of the net to make it 1-1.The game progressed with the two Killarney backs clearing everything that was thrown at them , and Killarney mounting attack after attack but for the Park back four Dean , Raul, James and Poga keeping the ball out but then a miss kick let the Killarney forward in to make it 1-2.Jake put several balls through to Andrew and Jamell out on the wings but the Killarney defence were too strong for them. Park tried to clear a ball from the back but the Killarney forwards gave them no chance and seized their chance to make it 1-3.then just before halftime Killarney made it 1-4. The second half got underway and though Killarney were a physically bigger team than most of the Park players they never gave up ,it was from a corner taken by Jake saw the ball go into the six yard box and Seb with a firm header put it in the back of the net 2-4. Jake had several runs down the centre and with a beautiful ball pushed forward to Mark who ran towards the goal using his strength to keep the ball from the defenders to chip the ball over the keeper to make It 3-4. Park were on a comeback and put pressure on a tough Killarney team who couldn’t believe the grit and determination of the Park team and realised that they had a fight on their hands but managed to keep them at bay . Then the referee deemed that a Park player fouled one of the Killarney forwards right on the edge of the box and they made sure from the free kick putting the ball in the back of the net to finish the game Park B 3 Killarney Celtic 5. This turned out to be a great game that started off one sided but the Park team proved that they were a match for the A team , they all dug deep under pressure and gave 100%and were a great credit to everyone. But for a couple of mistakes and a bit of luck it could have been a different story well done lads .
