Another big crowd of eager boys attended training last Saturday with a few new faces joining up with Kerry’s biggest Academy.
U6/U7: Dave, Jason and Poga were looking after these stars of the future. This group have come on leaps and bounds since the Academy started in September with Jamie, Sean, Rory, David & Darragh playing fantastic football with the 7’s.
While Ryan scored a great goal in the younger boys game and Tadhg, Kevin passed the ball like Messi & Villa!!
U8: The 8’s were trained by Pat, Peter & Denis with Pierce, Fiachra, Josh, Liam and Ben dribbling around the cones like pros. Games against Killarney Celtic coming up in the following weeks.
U9: Ken and Pat had the boys training hard for the challange matches next Saturday in Listowel against Celtic, KO 4pm sharp. Adam, Dan, Martin and John are chomping at the bit in anticipation of next weeks games so keep up the practicing at home with both feet.
Text to go out during the week re travel arrangements for Celtic game but we will be there from 4 – 5.30pm.
U10: Brian, Padraig, Sean and Dave were also hard at the drills as we play Listowel Celtic the week after (4th Feb), more info at training next week.
Also any U10 player wishing to try their hand or hands at goalkeeping, a goalkeepers training session will take place on Wed from 5.30 – 6.30pm on the all-weather.

Tickets are now on sale for the Clubs ‘Night at the Dogs’ on Saturday 12th May, Tickets cost €10 and that includes free admission to the track with a 1st Prize of €500 for the winning ticket.
Tickets are now on sale in the shop on Saturdays, we would ask all parents to support this fundraiser to help fund the building of a new Shop/Kitchen/Shelter.
