Another weekend, another title! Congratulations to our U15’s on winning their Premier League in dramatic circumstances this weekend.
Their 3-2 win over Killarney Celtic sounds dramatic enough, but add in the fact that the lads were 2-0 down, makes their League title success all the sweeter. Fair dues to the lads, their coaches and all supporters who travelled to see us clinch another league title.
It’s great to see our teams playing the “beautiful game” … well, beautifully, with our pass and movement approach at all levels winning out over the direct approach.
Congratulations also to our seniors teams on 2 great wins. First off the B’s won their cup replay away to Killarney Athletic and of course our A’s win today means they make their 3rd league final in 3 years. A fantastic achievement for a great set of players and management team. Good luck next Sunday lads.
So, to date, we have won league titles in U14, U15, U16, U17 and Youths, along with cup success at U16 and our Seniors winning the Greyhound Bar cup. What a brilliant club we have!
