The senior A team recorded their first win of the season today away to Camp Utd. Camp took the lead in the 7th minute but Antony Murphy equalised 4 minutes later. For the remainder of the first half we struggled to get control off the game and went in level at half time.
The second half saw us in total control and only allowing Camp to try hit us on the counter attack. Chance after chance fell our way but we couldn’t get the goal to give us the lead. Dan Robinson came on as a sub in the 80th minute and 3 minutes later he fired an unstoppable shot into the top corner from 25 yards. Two minutes later Dan was on the end of a Ryan Downey cross to score his second and our third. So the first win of the season in what was at times a very frustrating game to be involved in.
Best on the day were Dan Robinson, Adrian Quirke and Antony Murphy.
