This was a game we had to win if we were to reach another Premier A league final. Played with a very strong wind blowing straight down the pitch it was always going to be a game of two halves. Classic made the most of it in the first half when they took the lead after 35 minutes and then doubled their lead after 40 minutes . However we managed to get one back just before half time when David Rogers finished home with a lovely finish past the on rushing keeper .

The second half started and as a contest it was over as we scored 4 goals in the first fifteen minutes of the restart . Fiachra Dunne made it 2-2 when his cross sailed all the way to the net . Antony Murphy then gave us the lead when he chipped the keeper for a great finish. Aaron Eager scored for the second week in a row when he finished low from close range and then David Rogers grabbed his second after a low cross from Aaron. Classic kept going and managed to grabbed one back with twenty minutes remaining after a shot deflected off Con Barrett to go into his own goal. Con however made up for this as he finished the scoring with a strong header from a Ryan Downey Corner.

We will now play Killarney Celtic next Sunday in the Premier A final as we try to retain our League Title that we won last season.
