Unfortunately we couldn’t complete the treble after already winning the Munster Junior Cup area and the Premier A League title.
Castleisland got the early goal which enabled them to play on the counter attack and suited them very well. Although the players never stopped trying we couldn’t get the equaliser and were hit very late on by a second goal.
The lads should be very proud of their efforts winning two trophies this season and losing one final, and the season isn’t over yet with the Castle Bar League Cup left to play for.
