In what was always going to be a tight match between two sides who are fighting to claim a place in this years final , we were unlucky not to claim all three points but for conceding in the 89th minute .
The first half saw us start well but then gave away a very sloppy goal midway through the first half. Just before half time it was all level thanks to David Clifford who finished in style after a great pass from Mark o Sullivan . The second half saw us finish where we left off dominating possession without creating much in-goal scoring options . However David Courtney pounced on some hesitant defending to make it 2-1 one on the hour mark . Killarney pushed everything forward and got the equalizer in the 89th minutes from a well taken free kick. Both sides had chance to win it in injury time but neither could get the winner .
All thoughts now turn to the FAI Junior Cup match next sunday against Cherry Orchard .
