This result has really put a dent in our aim to retain the Premier league title . Missing a few players going into this game we still started brightly . For the first twenty minutes we dominated the chances with Athletics keeper making a few good saves . However against the run of play we conceded a very sloppy goal which look offside from our point of view . Fergal Maunsell leveled matters five minutes before half time with a shot from twenty yards that curled into the top corner . However within a minute we conceded again when we gave the ball away cheaply in front of out own area .

The second half saw us try to get back into the game but we never did. We conceded two more goals without ever troubling the Athletic goal. Ten games now remain in the league and we need a string off wins to have a chance of making the final .
