If ever their was a game off two halves this was it. Park started with a very strong wind behind them and had Killarney on the back foot from the start.
David Conway gave us the lead with a wonderful free kick from 25 yards which sailed into the top corner. David Courtney made it 2-0 after a fantastic solo goal which saw him round 2 defenders before cooly passing the ball to the bottom corner. This lead was maintained till half time.
Killarney now had their chance in the second half with the wind behind them to push the park back. Two goals in the final 15 minutes saw Killarney get a point. Park will feel disapointed not to have won but in very hard conditions there was some fantastic battling qualities by the players. 5 games remain now in the league season with 4 teams still in with a chance off making the league final.
