3rd Annual Laurence White’s Memorial Match
Our senior team took on a Munster Deaf XI today for the Laurence White Memorial match. We ran out easy enough winners with two goals from Pa McCarthy and one each from Con Barrett, Ryan Downy, Ruairi Keane, David Doyle and Dan Robinson.
The game was played in a very sporting manor and was enjoyed by all those who played and watch the match.
After the match Christy Leahy presented Joseph White (Chalky Joe) with a certificate off appreciation for all his sporting achievements.
Special thanks to the Kerry District League and John o Regan for the use of their pitch and clubhouse for the after match refreshments. Also thanks to today’s match referee Kevin Cunningham .
