We had Listowel’s 1st and 2nd team in on Saturday with both our teams ending the games on top. Our first team had a big win with some top class goals worked from our keeper to Listowels net. Brian was super today getting three goals, Darragh got two with Alfie, Padraig, and James R bagging one each. Although all the panel played great soccer and worked very hard the players that stood out today were the two Connors’, Ali, Patrick, Padraig, both James’s, Sebastian and Darragh but the player of the day with his three goals was Brian. Well done boys.
The 2nd game again saw us finish with a win but this game was a closer contest as only a single goal separated the teams. Joe had a mighty game covering the whole field and got a goal to add to his great effort. Tennyson again chipped in with a rocket of a shot and Junior got the third, Craig, Mark, Steven, Sean and Martin all had great matches with Joe getting player of this game. This was a great team effort by all the players. Well done boys.
Again it was great to see all the parents present today watching the games.
