The last game of the season, we were hoping for a good result but wasn’t to be.
Our keeper Joe was missing through sickness, so we had to find a sub keeper Richard, His heart was there, but goal keeping was new to him, I think the first goal scored was not meant to be and disheartened Richard and things got worse, by half time we were down 6-0, the lads tried there best the first half but Mastergeeha were to strong. Second half we changed keeper’s, Junior went in goal and Richard on the field,we fought back pressuring Mastergeeha, Mark then set up Brian too scored making it 6-1, game on. Mastergeeha then made it 7-1 and then Brian scored again catching the keeper off his line to make it 7-2, then Richard scored to make it 7-3. Mastergeeha then came back, we battled fair played to the lads that they didn’t give up. Mark missed a couple of good chances but wasn’t to be. Mastergeeha then scored yet again to make it 8-3, then finally to the end it was 9-3.
