It was a beautiful sunny morning in Tralee for the game between Park under 12 B and C. The game got off to an equal start with both teams making good moves and playing well. The last encounter between these two saw the B team win 5-0.
This time the C team surprised the B’s with some good attacks but Ryan Guerin and James Charles were powerful in defence. Two lovely attempts on goal by the Cs were brilliantly stopped on the line by TJ Heaphy. At the break it was 0-0. The second half was a different story with the B team dominating play. There were several attacks mounted at the C goal but the C keeper Tadhg was excellent and the B’s couldn’t find a way past him. The game ended with a share of the points 0-0. There were excellent performances from both wingers Earnan Ferris on the left and Leon Daly on the right. This was the first game of the season that the B team didn’t take all points.
