Last Saturday we played Kilorglin in the Kerry cup in Kilorglin. Unfortunately we were unlucky not to progress to the next round in that we were the better team on the day. The pitch in Kilorglin had a part to play as conditions for playing ball the way we like did not suit. However credit to Kilorglin in their win as they are a good team and play a fast style of soccer.
The final score was 2 – 1 to Kilorglin with Fergal netting for us.
We have 2 games left in the league both at home, 1 to Listowel and the other to Kilorglin. Hopefully we can return to good form for these games and this will see us contest the top spot.
Well done to all players on Saturday as we played well and showed great attitude. Best on the day were Fergal, Conor M, Keeven, James R, JR, Seb, and Alfie with Conor H being man of the match.
