Premier Division
In our first match of the season we went down 3 goals to 1 v Kilorglin in an away game. Although we started the game very well with some nice passing and creating some good scoring chances it was one of those days when we just knew things were not going to plan.
Arron Foley did score first for us and it was a goal he deserved as he had a good game. Their first goals came from a corner and a mistake by our defence granted them an og. That goal turned the game as heads dropped Killorglin capitalised with 2 more. However we again got back on the ball and tried hard with the ball cleared off the line and we had a shout for a peno, but at the end of the game the better team on the day won.
Although we were disappointed with the result we all know in the squad things will turn around quickly.Players that stood out on the day were James S, Craig, Keeven, both Connor’s and James R.
We will train Monday from 6:15 to 7:30.
