U12 Premier
Today we played our 2nd match in the league and I’m glad to report we registered our first three points of the season. This win was so important to us as we lost our opening game to Killorglin and in that game we played below our best so a good result to kick start the season was needed. At the last few trainings we worked on a few aspect of the game and today the players responded to all that was asked of them.
We started today’s game on top form and we attacked Kboys, we earned a few corners early and on the 3rd attempted we hit the back of the net with a nice flick from Sebastian. We took control of the game from that point on and our work ethic and team spirit shone to give us a well deserved win.
All our boys worked hard today and as hard as it was to pick a players to call man of the match Conor Myers was outstanding in the middle of defence with Jack comparing his skills today with some of the very best underage players that have gone through the club.
