At an early start on a wet and cold estate pitch we played Killarney Ath in the league Saturday morning. After a shaky start we eventually won 5-1, with goals from Padraig, Mervin, 2 from Brian and 1 from James Sheehan.
We had a new look starting 11 with 4 starts to new players, all the panel played on the day and all played very well, stand outs on the day were Craig, Patrick, Brian, Mervin, James, and Padraig.
On Monday night we have Brian McCarthy taking a session so all players are asked to make training, it promises to be a good session as Brian is a highly regarded coach and has lots of experience.
On Saturday the Senior team play in the Munster final, the club are running a bus at a cost of €5, all u12a players are invited to travel, and the coaches will take charge of our group, any parents or family members looking to travel are welcome to join us.
