Outstanding game today, soccer both ends of the field for the hour. The boys played their skins out and enjoyed themselves.
Killarney received an early penalty with Joe saved in the first half, we battled on had a few chances from Fergal, Cj (Carl) and Mark for goals but wasn’t meant to be, Mark hit the crossbar, passing was good left and right and the mid-field Padraig and Junior had there work cut out and were strong, in the defence Alexander Brian,Damien, Samson and Jack who came on in the second half were outstanding. Joe in Goal also had his work cut out and didn’t hesitate for a second was in the right place at the right time.
Second half we battled on and eventually we scored, scorer was Mark, Killarney also battled on and we were unfortunate that Killarney scored in the final minute.
The lads were a true credit to St Brendan’s Park, Well done Lad’s and keep the good work up.
