An Unexpected result.
A great day to play soccer, we were away to Killorglin, it was going to be a hard game. The ball was being passed up and down the field, a few chances by both sides, Park had scored the first goal in the first 17 minutes with Carl (Cj) having been fed the ball by Tony from the wing and then Carl (Cj) placing it neatly into the right hand top corner 1-0. Killorglin soon came back with an equalizer 1-1, both teams battle on with Killorglin scoring again 2-1, it was a hard game for both sides, some very strong tackles from the Killorglin’s side was making Park uneasy, but we persevered but yet again Killorglin got another passed Patrick 3-1. With a break from Park, nice passing from Junior, Samson and Mark laid on for Tony to drive the ball into the back of the net 3-2 half- time score.
The second half was not much easier with the Park lads frustrated from the Ref’s decisions and again hard tackles from Killorglin, Killorglin got another two goals to make it 5-2 full-time score.
