The game started of with both Teams playing soccer up and down the pitch. It was looking to be a good game, both sides had chances and with Patrick our new Keeper was looking very comfortable in goals.into the 15-20th minute Mark put Park ahead 1-0 with a nice goal into the corner net, the lads were passing the ball to each other and they looked very professional. 1-0 at half time.
Second half we kept our composure with Tony, Mervyn and Mark attacking the Killarney goals with a few misses, Finally with a pass from Tony into the box Mervyn had a shot but was not going in for him, we then had another attack good passing again from the back to the front, with Mark getting a break and netting the ball, 2-0 to Park, Tamer (Tj) fouled outside our box and the Ref had to send him of leaving us with 10 men.
We batttled on the lads didn’t loose faith, with Ten men we still had that panache and we were attacking again, Tony passed the ball over to Mervyn who calmly put it in the net making it Park 3-0.Killarney started to attack again but our defence was like a brick wall nothing was getting through, which meant Killarney had to do high shots which was ease for Patrick, we got yet another break with Mervyn on the ball and shot across the goals to land the ball into the right bottom corner. With ten minutes to go Killarney got a free outside the box, they shot and as Patrick when to jump to collect the ball he slipped and the ball went over his head making it 4-1 to Park final score.
