Great performance by all the lads. We took the lead in the very first minute with a superb solo goal from kevin browne. KB equalised mid way through the first half. We worked very hard in the second half against a strong wind. Aaron ward in goals made some excellent saves, back four of shane jordan, sean carmody, matt luko and thomas burke were outstanding throughout. Conor higgins and josh wadding were working tires-sly on the wings. Kevin browne covered every blade of grass and john ward was solid as usual. Mike slatts and adam ward put in a great shift up top, young poga did well when he was called upon also. Unlucky not to get the winner as mike slatts had a goal disallowed in injury time. Well done to all the lads! Man of the match kevin browne.
