On this particular day was one which was particularly exciting from the kickoff of the ball in the Park F.C grounds. When I mean this it was right from the first play from park when Mervin gave a great ball over the top to Mark and it was a great save by the Listowel Keeper and straight away Listowel were on the counter attack and Park keeper TJ made a brilliant double save to deny Listowel a first goal. It was then 5 minutes later when Listowel Celtic got a shot outside the 18yard box and just managed to beat TJ by the fingertips. It was then another five minutes later Listowel managed to get another break and slotted home another goal
It was looking as though Park were out, but they never gave up1 with chance after chance they were finally rewarded when Tony with a powerful shot 25 yards out which took a deflection and ended in the back of the net.20 minutes were gone and Park got another great chance when tony’s free kick ended just wide of the post. It happened again and Park were caught on the counter attack and Park were another goal down after a quick goal by Listowel. But as they done earlier Park never gave up and Patrick with a very good ball over the top to Mervin, who like Theo Walcott because he was like a bullet onto the ball before the Listowel defence even knew what was happening and Mervin calmly finished and that was the last big action before the end of the half
Into the second half and 8 minutes in Mark gave a great ball through to Theo “Mervin” Walcott who missed the initial shot but got the rebounder and equalised the game at 3-3 .Listowel and Park were then taking chances on each other but both keepers were on superb form denying both teams. In the 46minute it was unfortunate for Park when they conceded a penalty which was converted into a goal. Then in an instant Listowel got another goal which was big blow to the park lads. There was good reply from park when Daniel hit the crossbar but again Listowel with the counter-attack caught Park off guard and got their sixth five minutes from time and the final score was 6-3 to Listowel,
Park boys Keep your heads high because unlike most teams you guys kept fighting until the last minute and the score line doesn’t reflect your performance. Keep your heads high boys

Man oft the Match Mervin
