Saturday 21st of November was a very cold day for the clash between Mastergeeha and Park B under 13 league game. The pitch was hard and lumpy with long grass which made the movement of the ball slow. The game got under way at 10.40 with the home side having most of the play. Mastergeeha did most of the attacking and had most of the possession but a good Park defence and good goal keeping kept it level by half time at 0-0.
By the start of the second half Park had settled in and gotten used to the pitch and their passing was much more accurate with some nice link up play through midfield to both wings. After 5 minutes Adam Walker playing on the right wing had a lovely shot which hit the back of the net making it 0-1. Five minutes later a lovely move by Matt Healy playing his way into the box and rounding the keeper saw him score Parks second. There was an onslaught on the Park goal for a short period after that which was weathered well by a solid Park defence and excellent play by Ryan Guerin and Keeper Hugh Emmerson. With five minutes to go Adam Walker again played some lovely football and scored his second and Parks third to make the final score Mastergeeha 0 Park 3. This puts Park on top of the table.
Well done to everyone on what was a good performance in a hard game.
