The game started off with Killarney on the attack as they got to the edge of the box the park keeper ran out and the Killarney player chipped the ball over the keeper into the back of the net 1-0 Killarney. A free kick from Alfie found Andrew whose shot struck the crossbar , Park piled on the pressure and a corner from Alfie found Dylan who put the ball through to Jamell who rounded a couple of players in the box and slotted the ball into the back of the net 1-1.
Park had several more chances on goal with a shot by Jake saved by the keeper and a great volley by Dean going just over the crossbar Halftime1-1. The second half started at a great pace by Park who had their heads up sensing that they could achieve their first win of the season, Jake runs down the wing and puts a brilliant cross into the box where Alfie makes sure heading the ball into the net 1-2 Park. A couple of substitutions were made by Park Joe coming on in goal for Diarmuid, and Arron for Jamell ,but Killarney counter attacked and a shot on goal bobbled in the wind and went into the corner of the net 2-2.Pauric came on for Jordan and with Park now in great form another run down the wing by Jake puts the cross in which once again connects with the head of Alfie who makes it 2-3 Park. Evan takes a short corner to Pauric who puts the ball in and a terrific volley by Alfie finds the back of the net for his hatrick 2-4 Park. Now with 10 minutes to go and Park looking like the three points are in the bag sees a shot by Jake palmed down by the keeper and Arron running in and scores Park’s 5th 2-5 Park ,but relentless Park keep up the pressure with attack after attack and Alfie is pulled down and the referee points to the spot. Jake steps up and with a powerful low shot into the right hand corner scores Park’s 6th and makes the final score Killarney Celtic C 2 Park B 6. This was a brilliant game which started of with a quick goal from Killarney but was totally dominated in the second half by Park, Dave, Mathew and Jim were very pleased with the performance of the whole team, it was a great team effort well done lads .
