Although Park started the game well and despite several efforts to get the ball into the Killarney net they came up against a strong Killarney defence. On one occasion Edward put a lovely ball through to Jake who ran down the wing passed their defence only to see his shot go wide of the post. Killarney mounted another attack and luckily for Park their goalkeeper  Diarmuid managed to get a fist to it to punch it clear.

Park cleared ball after ball with Killarney mounting counter attacks usually with a high ball over the Park defence, and it was one of these just coming up to halftime which bounced over the head of Rual ,and a Killarney player managed to slip in behind him and put the ball in the back of the net .Halftime 0-1      The second half was much of the same with both teams attacking and defending and although Park battled on it was clear that they were missing through injury the strength and drive of Mark Regan. After a run down the wing Jake slipped a ball through to Andrew who was fouled on the edge of the  box but the free kick taken by Dylan went wide of the post .Rual made several clearance’s of the Park goalline and along with the other defender’s James and Darragh  kept the opposition out. The Park midfield consisting of Dean, Pauric, Dylan, and Jordan passed the ball around but could not penetrate the tight Killarney defence. As a result of this Killarney managed to break through and score their second goal .A late chance for Park with a shot from Sean went across the Killarney goalmouth but Andrew was unable to put the ball in the back of the net. On the whole it was an average performance by the Park who found the going tough and it was evident that if they are going to be contenders in this league that they will have to put in more effort and build up their fitness levels  as several player’s struggled.  Team..Dairmuid, Rual, James, Darragh, Dean, Jordan, Dylan, Pauric, Jake, Ozas, Edward,  Subs. Andrew, Sean, Joe, and Junior .MOTM was Rual .
