The game got underway in Killarney with the Park making a quick dash on goal a nice ball slipped through from Conor Higgins to Conor Morrison who put it in the net but the referee blew offside , this was a good start to build our confidence on the back of our recent defeats .Park kept up the pressure with attack after attack a shot by David going just wide of the goal, and a nice back heel flick from Shane to Conor which was put out for a corner.
Killarney came close to scoring from a free kick which was headed wide. then with another attack saw Jack make a brilliant clearance of the goal line to deny them from taking the lead. Dylan has to reach at full stretch to parry the ball out for a corner. Another attack on the Killarney goal sees Conor M . bring the ball forward and slip it through to Aaron whose shot slots into the left hand corner of the net past the keeper 0-1 Park on 33 minutes. Park were taking control of the game with their defence Jack, James ,Edward and David clearing everything that came their way.
Second half gets under way a free kick from James goes into the box but unluckily hits Conor on the knee and goes wide .Park are playing some nice football now and keep control of the game Nemanja runs down the wing with the ball runs across and puts the ball into box and David heads into the net but referee says the ball had gone out over end line. The game flowed from end to end and then with a ball crossed over from the wing into the box saw Killarney put it in the back of the net 1-1. with time starting to run out it looked like a draw was on the cards but Park dug deep and with a final burst from Nemanja who slipped the ball through to Conor in the box who then twisted and turned before passing the ball to John who slipped it past the keeper to make the final score 1-2 Park. This was a great result for us against a strong Killarney A team and a great performance by all the team who gave 100%
