On Saturday morning we suffered our first defeat of the season at home to Ballyhar. We knew that this game was going to be tough as Ballyhar haven’t lost a game this season. The only goal of the game came in the 10th min when a corner from Ballyhar was put in and headed into the back of the net by us. 1-0 to Ballyhar. Too be fair to the Park boys they were very unlucky to be a goal down as we had most of the play but just couldn’t get that goal back.
Jack in goal was in total control but must be said didn’t have much to do. Our back line of Owen,Gavin,Ciaran and Luke were well up for a game and gave nothing to Ballyhar. We dominated midfield with Elliott, Darragh and Jordan and up front we started with Felix,Conor and Liam who just couldn’t pull the goal back. All off the squad got playing time and everyone played out of their skins. Robert,Greg,Liam,Steven and Eoin were great when asked to come on and being fair to everyone today they gave us everything they could and should be very proud of themselves. If we keep playing like this and getting the commitment from the lads like today we should be up there fighting for the top spot at the end of the season,
