We started poorly to the game and conceded a penalty but keeper Conor Hurley came to our rescue and saved the spot kick and from the following attack we scored after Karl Mullins played Fergal Ryan through and he finished from 12yards . About 15minutes later Ferdia unleashed an unstoppable effort from fully 30yards that flew into the corner we finished the half in control and should’ve added to our lead when Jesse Stafford-Lacey hit the bar twice from corners and Fergal also hit the bar. We added to our lead when Luke reached fergals pass and fortunately the ball hit his knee and bounced into the net. We then started to give the ball away cheaply and after a number of substitutions we conceded a sloppy goal when they hit us on the break and only for Conor Hurley making 2 outstanding saves the result could’ve been different.. Man of the match has to go to our keeper Conor Hurley who kept our hopes of winning the league well and truly alive .
