The Park visited Killarney on Saturday last and came away with an excellent 3 points on a scoreline of 9-0.
The Park dominated this game from start to finish and within 9 minutes they were 1 up after a great move between Colin Griffin, Garry Nolan & Padraig Griffin who then set up Jesse Stafford Lacey to score a superb goal from the edge of the box.
Within 2 minutes the Park were 2 up when Calvin Foley headed home from a corner. Jesse made it 3-0 after a half hour. With 5 minutes to go to half time the Park put the best move of the game together, involving 7 players, and ending up with James Duggan scoring a great goal giving the Park a 4-0 lead at half time.
Five minutes into the second half Calvin Foley got his second goal. The Park brought on Sean Dukes & Feargal O Donoghue who played very well. After 25 minutes Sean got a great goal from inside the box and also set up Calvin for his hat trick.
The Park then brought on Kyle Bustard and Murrough Connelly. With 10 minutes to go Sean got his second goal and Murrough rounded off the scoring with a great finish inside the box.
This was a great team performance and as we now have a home draw to Lucan from Dublin in the last 32 of the National Cup, hopefully this will ignite the team to even better performances.
