Unfortunately today we lost 2-1 away from home against Killarney Celtic in a game we dominated from start to finish. We went ahead after 30 mins when a Jesse Stafford Lacey corner wasn’t cleared the ball broke to Gazza Savage and he fired home from 12 yards. We were playing great football and should have been further in front at half time with Kieran and Luke both missing good chances.
1-0 at half time and looking comfortable. Celtic came out strong and scored within 5 minutes of the restart as we failed to clear a corner which they took advantage of.
Celtic were then reduced to 10 men and we became more dominant we had all the ball without creating chances of any notice.. And in the last-minute we conceded a corner that we failed to deal with and were punished as their centre back tapped home from 4 yards. Heads up as we will bounce back.
Training again this week at the usual times.
