A fantastic game played between two very good footballing sides was settled with a tremendous header 4 minutes from time by Colin Griffin. A cruel way to lose for a Kingdom Boys side who after being one goal down inside 3 minutes after a well worked move was finished off byJesse Stafford-Lacey fought back to take a 1-4 lead with a superb hat- trick from Segun Doylie and another from Shane Lowth.

James Duggan pulled one back before half time to make it 2-4 .The second half saw wave after wave of Park attacking and some inspired goalkeeping from the Kingdom Boys number 1.Eventually the pressure paid off and James Duggan was on hand to make it 3-4.Park continued pushing forward with Sean Dukes and Shane McLaughlin getting behind the resolute Boys defence on several occasions and with ten minutes left Colin Griffin equalised with a header that James Duggan made sure was over the line. The referee confirmed that the goal was credited to Colin.

With time running out, Jesse Stafford Lacey swung in an inviting corner and Colin Griffin rose above everyone to power a tremendous header into the roof of the net for what proved to be the winner.

It was a bitter blow for a brave Kingdom Boys team and credit must be given to the Park lads for continuing to pass their way to the eventual winning outcome.
