On a cold Thursday night the game gets underway and straight from the start Park were on the attack with the wind favouring them, Aaron gets the ball and rounds three players and shoots but it goes wide. Jack saves a shot and passes the ball to Josh who passes to James to Mike and he puts the ball through to Connor O’Brien who slots the ball past the keeper to make it 0-1 Park .
Jamal puts a ball through to Aaron who runs down the wing and is tackled the ball goes out for a throw , it is taken quickly and Aaron gets the ball a couple of yards outside the box and takes a rocket of a shot which goes into the top left hand corner of the goal to make it 0-2 Park. The game flowed from end to end with Park defence clearing everything and Mastergeeha could only manage a couple of shots on goal but they went wide. 0-2 halftime.
Second half gets underway jack puts a ball up the wing to Connor who runs on past two defenders but his shot goes wide. Park get a free kick a few yards outside the box Dean takes it but it dips just over the bar . The wind was strong and it favoured Mastergeeha in this half and the kept pumping balls forward and taking shots most of which went wide and Jack had to pull of a great save from a low ball that was about to sneak past him into the net. Mastergeeha sensed there was a goal on and kept coming forward but the park defence stayed strong and made sure that their efforts were fruitless Every Park player on the field played to their full potential and when the final whistle blew it was a relief to be into the final.
