The game gets underway with the park kicking off and make an attack, James passes the ball to jack it goes out for a throw this is taken and the ball goes forward and David gets it and dribbles past the defender and slots the ball past the keeper into the net after two minutes to make 0-1 the Park. The game goes on with park mounting attack after attack and Thomas heads wide from a free kick. The Listowel keeper takes a goal kick but it is taken down by Thomas and he runs forward and beats two defenders and puts it past the keeper into the net 0-2 Park. James puts a ball through to Conor and he puts it across to David and he hits the back of the net 0-3 Park. Listowel mount an attack and the shot hits the post and is cleared out for a corner the is taken and the ball goes across the goalmouth and Listowel slot the ball past the park keeper to make it 1-3.Park make another attack and Conor puts the ball through to David but his shot is saved by the keeper. Listowel mount a rare attack and the striker puts the ball past the park keeper but John clears it of the line, the ball comes down the field and Thomas gets the ball and hits the net 1-4.Listowel make another attack and the striker heads the ball down takes it and puts it past the park keeper to make it 2-4 with half time approaching Kevin runs down the wing and sends a lovely crossing towards the goal and David with a scissor kick puts it in the net for his hat trick 2-5 park.
Second half gets underway but the Park keep the pressure on and Shane gets the ball passes it to David to Kevin who is pulled down ,free kick Shane passes to Thomas to Conor but his shot goes over the top of the goal. Culan runs down the wing and passes to David but his shot goes wide, Conor gets the ball turns and passes the defender and shoots but the keeper saves. Another attack by park Thomas puts the ball through to David who rounds three defenders for his fourth goal to make it 2-6 Park. Michael passes the ball to Conor back to Michael but his shot goes over the top of the goal. The game is in the bag for the Park but they are not finished and Michael sees the Listowel keeper is off his line and fires a long range shot towards the goal and into the back of the net to finish the game 2-7 Park.
This was an outstanding performance by the whole team each player played his part and was a fantastic team effort.
