League: Park 4-0 Castlemaine
This was a top of the table clash which saw Park move joint top
with a game in hand.
Park were comfortable winners dominating possession with Castlemaine relying on the long direct ball. Park went in at the break two goals to the good with their prolific striker Jesse O’Sullivan netting the opening goal on 24mins and new signing Adam O’Rourke adding the second with a twenty five yard strike.
Park’s midfield of Cian Kennedy and Roman Laucher were dominating the game
and Kennedy turned provider for George Carneige to head Park into a
three nil lead.
Park’s Sean Ryan scored the fourth.
Best for Park were Ryan Downey, Kyle Fitzgibbons and Fionn Coakley.
