The U17 tasted defeat for the first time this season at home on Saturday against Killarney Celtic . We started the better and went close in the opening minutes when Culan and Shane were just off target .

Killarney however took the lead just before half time true an unfortunate og. This set back didn’t seem to phase the boys who continued to push forward and Conor Higgins was denied by a fine save after a great solo run.

Mid way through the second half Killarney doubled their lead after a great save from Jack Rodgers a Killarney striker was on hand to somehow force the rebound home. Park responded brilliantly and pulled a goal back through Conor Higgins after some great work from Culan to set the game up for a grand stand finish .

As the game entered injury time we were caught on the counter attack while looking for an equaliser and Killarney secured the win .
Team; Jack Rodgers, Dean, Jack Donohue, Shane, Mike, Culan , Aaron, Kevin , Conor Higgins, John, Conor O’Brien, James, Adam .
