We moved into the next round of the FAI Youths cup which after 30 minutes looked very unlikely as we feel behind by three goals early in the match . Listowel Came out all guns blazing and took advantage of our slow start when they took an early lead , Chis Edbell made it two nil from a free kick before the Listowel keeper made it three nil from a kick out that went straight in .

With ten minutes before the break we pulled a goal back when Sean Kelliher bundled the ball over the line in a goal mouth scramble . This was the goal that was needed and it brought the whole team to life . Adam O Rourke was causing serious problems on the wing and with five minutes to the break he found Jesse o Sullivan who made no mistake to pull another goal back . James Duggan then sa whis shot beat the keeper only for the last defender to stop the ball going into the net with his hand . A yellow card was shown and a penalty awarded by the referee . Jesse Stepped up by the keeper guessed correctly and saved the penalty .

What ever was sais at half time by the management worked as the team came out in a total different manor for this half than they did the first and it didn’t take long before Jesse O Sullivan grabbed his second and made the game all level after some good work on the wing by Adam Barrett . The middle two of Ryan Carroll and Paddy Collins were now well on top . James Duggan grabbed the lead when he scored from close range from a Cian Kennedy knock down . James then hit the crossbar with a well executed free kick before he grabbed the goal of the game with an out standing strike from distance that gave the keeper no chance and gave James the chance to celebrate with a friendly message for his manager Tim Collins which both parties enjoyed . The job wasn’t done yet but back four were well on top of any danger and kept pushing the team forward . Jesse O Sullivan got his hat trick with ten minutes remaining when Adam O Rourke was taken down for another penalty . Jesse showed his character having already missed one he put this one away with power and precession . Chris Edbell got one back for Listowel in the dying minutes from another wonderful free kick .

On to the next round we go with a great comeback  but we know if we come against better opposition in further rounds we cannot afford to give them a three goal lead of our involvement in the FAI Youths Cup would be well and truly over  .
