Kerry Biofuels Youths Cup 1/4 Final
The Park youths travelled away to Celtic in the Kerry Youths Cup. In a team that was missing a number of leading players through injury, the 16’s and 17’s brought in were excellent.
Buna Aaron Eager was outstanding, as the lone striker in the 4-5-1 formation. He went at the Celtic defence from start to finish and scored two great goals.
The 1st after15 minutes was a great solo effort where he ran on to a great through ball from Adam O Rourke leaving 2 Celtic defenders behind.
Celtic equalised on the stroke of half time to leave it 1-1 at half-time.
The 2nd half was only 12 minutes old when Celtic took the lead for the first time. We were not to be denied the draw when Buna again proved himself to be scorer in chief. Connor Jordan was the provider on this occasion.
The Park were well worth their draw on the day with a great all round performance. Buna was man of the match very closely followed by Connor Jordan and Adam O Rourke.
